Emmanuelle Bercot is a French actress, film director, and screenwriter who wrote, directed, and starred in the film Clément, which was featured in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. Her 2013 film On My Way (Elle s'en va) premiered in competition at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival, while her 2015 film Standing Tall (La Tête haute) opened the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Bercot received the Best Actress award at Cannes in 2015 for her performance in Mon roi. In the 2024 action thriller series Paris Has Fallen, she portrays the French president.
