Emmanuelle Béart is a French actress known for her role as the avenging daughter in the film Manon des Sources (1986). She has appeared in over 60 productions since her debut in 1972 and has been nominated for the César Award eight times, winning for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Manon des Sources. Other notable films include La Belle Noiseuse (1991), A Heart in Winter (1992), Nelly and Mr. Arnaud (1995), and 8 Women (2002). Béart starred in Mission: Impossible (1996). She won the Silver St. George award for Best Actress at the 19th Moscow International Film Festival for A French Woman (1995).
