Emily VanCamp is a Canadian actress who collaborated with producer Greg Berlanti, notably starring in the series Everwood (2002–2006) and Brothers & Sisters (2007–2010). She played the lead role as Emily Thorne in the ABC series Revenge, which aired from 2011 to 2015. VanCamp portrayed Sharon Carter, also known as Agent 13, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). In addition to her film work, she starred in the Fox medical drama The Resident from 2018 to 2021. VanCamp's role as Sharon Carter extends to the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) and What If...? (2021–2024).
