Emerson MacNeil is a Canadian actress who played Ash Lanier in The Sinner. She began her journey in acting through musical theatre and later transitioned to commercials and television roles. MacNeil gained recognition for her guest star appearances on the CBC sketch comedy series This Hour Has 22 Minutes across four seasons. Her film credits include a lead role in the short film Not My Children and a supporting role in Around Me. In 2025, she will portray Bonnie Sheffield Sinclair in the series We Were Liars, based on the popular book.
