Ellie Araiza is a Mexican actress with an extensive background in improvisational theater. After relocating to Chicago at 16, she engaged in local theater and television, while also exploring directing through short films and music videos that gained recognition at international film festivals. Araiza moved to Los Angeles at 18 to further her aspirations as an actor, writer, and filmmaker, building her resume with roles in productions such as TNT's Southland, FX's The Bridge, and feature films like Shiloh Falls and Watercolors. Araiza's one-woman show Turtle Love ran for seven months at I.O. West Theatre. Araiza is involved with The Nursery, an artistic community in LA, and is the lead singer and lyricist for the band Pie.
