Ellen DeGeneres is an American stand-up comic, television host, and actress who provided the voice of Dory in the animated feature Finding Nemo (2003). She has hosted the Academy Awards and the Primetime Emmys. DeGeneres starred in the sitcoms Ellen from 1994 to 1998 and The Ellen Show from 2001 to 2002, and she was a judge on American Idol during its ninth season. Her voice performance in Finding Nemo earned her a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. DeGeneres has won twelve Emmys and numerous accolades.
