Elize du Toit is a South African-born English former actress who played Izzy Davies in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks from 2000 to 2004. She was selected for this role after an open audition, outpacing 40,000 other candidates. Du Toit spent her childhood in Pretoria before moving to the UK in 1994, where she attended Wellington College and excelled in her A-levels. She studied history at the University of Edinburgh and was active in the Edinburgh University Theatre Company. After leaving Hollyoaks, she made a guest appearance in Coronation Street as Jenny in 2011. Du Toit has also been involved with Reading's Progress Theatre during her early years in the UK.
