Elisabeth Moss is an American actor and producer known for her role as Zoey Bartlet in the political drama series The West Wing (1999–2006). She further established her career with her portrayal of Peggy Olson in Mad Men (2007–2015). Moss won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in the BBC miniseries Top of the Lake (2013) and received two Primetime Emmy Awards for her work in The Handmaid's Tale (2017–present), where she also served as a producer. Her film credits include Girl, Interrupted (1999), The Invisible Man (2020), and Us (2019). Moss has also received a Tony Award nomination for her stage performances in The Heidi Chronicles.
