Elinor Donahue is an American actress who played Betty Anderson in the television series Father Knows Best. She gained fame for her role as the eldest daughter in the 1950s sitcom, sharing the screen with Robert Young and Jane Wyatt. Her career includes appearances in various television shows, such as The Andy Griffith Show, where she portrayed pharmacist Ellie Walker, and guest roles on Star Trek and The Odd Couple. Donahue also appeared in the film Pretty Woman (1990). In addition to her acting, she served as a musical judge on ABC's Jukebox Jury from 1953 to 1954.
