Elina Shammi is a Bangladeshi actress who made her feature film debut in the 2014 drama 71 Er Maa Jononi. She gained significant attention for her role as Khaleda Zia in the biographical film Mujib: The Making of a Nation (2023) directed by Shyam Benegal. Shammi's performance in the web film Janowar (2021) marked a major breakthrough in her career. She has also appeared in the blockbuster Priyotoma (2023) alongside Shakib Khan. Before her acting career, she was an English teacher and worked as a television presenter. Elina Shammi has written over 40 original television dramas and series.
