Elijah Wood is an American actor who made his film debut in Back to the Future Part II (1989). He gained prominence as a child actor in the early 1990s with performances in Avalon (1990), Forever Young (1992), and The Good Son (1993). Wood achieved international recognition for portraying Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003). His adult career includes roles in notable films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) and Sin City (2005). In addition to acting, he founded the horror film production company SpectreVision and has worked as a disc jockey. Wood has received several accolades, including two Saturn Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
