Elias Koteas is a Canadian actor who portrayed Alvin 'Al' Olinsky on the series Chicago P.D. He has appeared in a variety of films, including Crash (1996), Shutter Island (2010), and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008). His notable roles also include Jack Payne in Shooter (2007) and Capt. James Stars in The Thin Red Line (1998). Koteas received the Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Ararat (2002).
