Eli Roth is an American film director and actor who played Donny Donowitz in Inglourious Basterds (2009). He is part of the Splat Pack, a collective that works in the horror genre. Roth's directorial credits include Hostel (2006), The Green Inferno (2013), and Thanksgiving (2023). He also acted in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof (2007). His performance in Inglourious Basterds earned him a SAG Award and a BFCA Critics Choice Award for Best Acting Ensemble.
