El Hijo del Santo is a Mexican luchador enmascarado who made his wrestling debut in February 1982. He is the son of the legendary El Santo and has continued the family tradition by performing under the ring name El Hijo del Santo. Throughout his career, he has competed for major wrestling promotions including Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and WWE, and has held numerous championships, such as the AAA World Tag Team Championship and the Mexican National Middleweight Championship. He has starred in lucha films, furthering his father's legacy in cinema. He won the Leyenda de Plata tournament in honor of his father and was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 1997.
