Edward Norton is an American actor and filmmaker who gained recognition for his debut in Primal Fear (1996). He earned a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and an Academy Award nomination for the same role. Norton's performance as a redeemed neo-Nazi in American History X (1998) also garnered him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He starred in notable films such as Fight Club (1999), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022). In addition to acting, he established the production company Class 5 Films and directed the crime film Motherless Brooklyn (2019). Norton received further Academy Award nominations for his roles in Birdman (2014) and A Complete Unknown (2024).
