Ed Nelson is an American actor who gained fame for his role as Dr. Michael Rossi in the television series Peyton Place (1964-1969). He began his acting journey at Tulane University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. Nelson collaborated with Roger Corman early on, appearing in films such as Cry Baby Killers and A Bucket of Blood. His extensive television work includes guest roles in series like The Fugitive and Gunsmoke. In addition to his television success, he starred in the film Riding with Death (1976), where he portrayed pit crew chief Robert Denby.
