Edward Joseph Herlihy was a prominent American radio and television announcer. He served as the announcer for NBC's "The Kraft Music Hall" during the 1940s and 1950s and was featured in various commercials and shows, including "The Jack Parr Tonight Show." In addition to his announcing career, Herlihy had small roles in films and television series, such as his appearance as Mr. Buxton in "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" (1985) and in "Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment" (1985). He passed away in 1999 at the age of 89.
