E. Roger Mitchell is a Miami native who earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from CUNY Brooklyn. He has appeared in notable films such as The Equalizer (2014), American Made (2017), and The Black Phone (2022). His stage work includes performances in productions like August Wilson's Jitney and The Sunset Limited, for which he received a Suzi Award for Best Lead Actor in 2010. Mitchell has also been involved in the World Premiere of The Green Book and has recently performed in Flying West. He was named in Who's Who Among America's Colleges and Universities in 1992.
