D.W. Moffett is an American actor who made his feature film debut in Black Widow (1987). He began his career in Chicago's stage productions and gained prominence with his role in the original New York City production of The Normal Heart in 1985. Moffett's notable film appearances include portraying a serial killer in Lisa (1990) and a supporting role in Stealing Beauty (1996). He starred in the television series For Your Love (1998–2002) and played a significant role in Traffic (2000), which earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award. Moffett played John Kennish in Switched at Birth (2011–2017).
