Doug Jones is an American actor who portrays non-human characters through extensive makeup and visual effects. He has collaborated frequently with director Guillermo del Toro, featuring in films such as Mimic (1997), Pan's Labyrinth (2006), and The Shape of Water (2017). Jones has also appeared in Hocus Pocus (1993), Tank Girl (1995), and the series Star Trek: Discovery (2017-2024), where he played Saru.
