Dot-Marie Jones is a retired athlete and American actress who portrayed Coach Beiste in the musical television series Glee from its second season through its sixth. She set records in shot put while attending California State University, Fresno, and is a 15-time world arm wrestling champion. In addition to her work on Glee, she has appeared as Coach Kelly in Lizzie McGuire and Butch Brenda in Material Girls. Jones was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series in 2011, 2012, and 2013. She also featured in the film 3 from Hell (2019).
