Don McKellar is a Canadian actor, writer, playwright, and filmmaker who directed and wrote the film Last Night, which received the Prix de la Jeunesse at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. He has contributed screenplays to notable films such as Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould (1993), The Red Violin (1998), and Blindness (2008). In addition to his film work, McKellar has been a prominent figure on Canadian television, appearing in series like Twitch City, Odd Job Jack, and Slings & Arrows. He has received two Genie Awards from eight nominations and wrote the book for the Tony Award-winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone. McKellar appeared in Target Number One (2020).
