Don Johnson is an American actor who gained fame for his portrayal of Det. James "Sonny" Crockett in the television series Miami Vice (1984-1990). His performance in this role earned him a Golden Globe Award in 1986, and he received an Emmy nomination the following year. Johnson starred in the CBS police drama Nash Bridges (1996-2001) and had notable roles in films such as Tin Cup (1996) and Django Unchained (2012). He appeared in the HBO series Watchmen (2019) and the romantic-comedy Book Club (2018). Johnson co-starred in the television film Nash Bridges in 2021, alongside Cheech Marin.
