DJ Qualls is an American actor who gained prominence for his role in the film Road Trip (2000). He has appeared in various other films, including The New Guy (2002) and Hustle & Flow (2005). Qualls has also made guest appearances on popular television series such as Supernatural, Lost, and The Big Bang Theory. Additionally, he played a regular character, Citizen Z, on the Syfy series Z Nation. Overcoming Hodgkin's lymphoma at a young age, he publicly came out as gay in January 2020. Qualls got engaged to his Supernatural co-star Ty Olsson in May 2024.
