Dipika Kakar is an Indian television actress who played Simar Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka. She was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8 and participated in Nach Baliye 8 alongside her husband Shoaib Ibrahim. Kakar had an extended cameo in the Star Plus series Qayamat Ki Raat. She made her Bollywood debut with JP Dutta's film Paltan in 2018.
