Diane Ladd is an American actress who received three Academy Award nominations for her performances in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974), Wild at Heart (1990), and Rambling Rose (1991). She has appeared in over 200 films and television shows, with notable roles in Chinatown (1974), National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989), and Joy (2015). Ladd also earned a BAFTA Award for her role in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and won a Golden Globe for her performance in the sitcom Alice (1980–1981). In addition to her successful career, she is the mother of actress Laura Dern. Ladd appeared in Gigi & Nate (2022).
