Denis Akiyama was a Japanese-Canadian actor and voice actor who provided the voice for Iceman/Bobby Drake in the X-Men series. His notable film appearances include playing Shinji in Johnny Mnemonic (1995) and a role in Pixels (2015). Akiyama also lent his voice to characters like Silver Samurai and Sunfire in the animated adaptations of Marvel comics, as well as Malachite in the English version of Sailor Moon. Additionally, he was a musician, performing trumpet with The Pukka Orchestra. Akiyama was a frequent guest star on the series Katts and Dog.
