Delroy Lindo is a British-born American actor who earned a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Joe Turner's Come and Gone (1988). His career includes notable roles in several Spike Lee films, such as West Indian Archie in Malcolm X (1992) and Paul in Da 5 Bloods (2020), the latter earning him the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor. Lindo has appeared in various films including The Harder They Fall (2021), Ransom (1996), and The Core (2003). He also voiced Beta in the animated film Up (2009). For his role in Sinners (2025), he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
