Deirdre O'Connell is an American character actress who made her screen debut in Tin Men (1987). She began her career at Stage One, an experimental theatre in Boston, and later made her Broadway debut in the 1986 revival of The Front Page. O'Connell received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her role in the off-Broadway production Love and Anger and has won multiple Drama-Logue Awards. Her film credits include State of Grace (1990), City of Angels (1998), and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). In addition to her film work, she has appeared in numerous television series, including Law & Order and Nurse Jackie. O'Connell was recognized with a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for her stage performances.
