Deepak Parashar is an Indian actor who was the first Mr India, crowned in 1976. He began his career as a model, notably for Vimal Suitings, before transitioning to acting in Hindi cinema during the early 1980s. His filmography includes significant roles in titles such as Nikaah (1982) and Purani Haveli (1989). Parashar also gained recognition on television, appearing in the soap opera Kahiin To Hoga and the serial Swabhiman. He participated in the reality show Bigg Boss in 2006, where he was evicted in the second week. Nikaah remains his best-performing film to date.
