Dawn French is a British actress and comedian who starred as Geraldine Granger in the BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley. She gained prominence through her work on the comedy sketch show French and Saunders, created alongside her friend Jennifer Saunders. French has received seven BAFTA TV Award nominations and, in 2009, was honored with a BAFTA Fellowship with Saunders. Her film credits include Death on the Nile (2022).
