David Spade is an American actor and comedian who gained prominence in the 1990s as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. He starred as Dennis Finch in the television series Just Shoot Me! from 1997 to 2003. Spade played C.J. Barnes in 8 Simple Rules, alongside notable co-stars like Katey Sagal and James Garner. His film credits include Joe Dirt (2001), Grown Ups (2010), and the animated series Hotel Transylvania (2012). He reprised his role in Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018). Spade has collaborated with TBS on an animated series inspired by Joe Dirt.
