David Ogden Stiers was an American actor who portrayed Major Charles Emerson Winchester III in the television series MASH. He also appeared in the science fiction drama The Dead Zone as Reverend Gene Purdy and played Attorney Michael Reston in the Perry Mason TV Movies. Stiers lent his voice to various animated projects and directed several productions. His film credits include Tomcats (2001).
