David Nykl is a Czech Canadian actor who portrayed Dr. Radek Zelenka in the television series Stargate Atlantis. After relocating to Canada following the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, he developed his craft in Vancouver and Prague, participating in numerous theater, film, and television projects. Nykl co-founded the Misery Loves Company Theatre in Prague and has also produced various theater and film works. He is fluent in multiple languages, including Czech, English, French, and Spanish. In addition to his role in Stargate Atlantis, he has appeared in the film Death by Lightning (2025).
