David Mann is an American actor and gospel singer who portrayed Mr. Brown in Tyler Perry's plays and films. He has appeared in several Tyler Perry productions, including Madea Goes to Jail (2009), Madea's Big Happy Family (2011), and A Madea Homecoming (2022). Mann starred in the sitcom Mann and Wife alongside his wife, Tamela Mann. The couple released the album Us Against the World in 2018. He has voiced Mr. Nezzer in The VeggieTales Show. Mann's character Mr. Brown is the father of Madea's daughter Cora, played by Tamela Mann.
