David Lee Smith is an American actor who portrayed John Oldman in the science fiction film The Man from Earth (2007) and its sequel The Man from Earth: Holocene (2017). He has appeared in notable films such as Fight Club and A Walk to Remember (2002). Smith also had a recurring role as IAB Sergeant Rick Stetler in the television series CSI: Miami. In addition to his film work, he has appeared in numerous television episodes throughout his career.
