David Lam Wai is a Taiwanese actor who gained prominence in 1984 for his portrayal of the leader of a group of jewel thieves in Long Arm of the Law. He began his film career with minor roles at Shaw Brothers studios, eventually becoming a lead actor in various crime, action, and gangster films during the 1980s and 1990s. Lam's recent work includes a role in The Curse of Turandot (2021).
