David Koechner is an American character actor who played Champ Kind in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). He studied improvisational comedy in Chicago and gained early experience on Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Koechner has appeared in notable films such as My Boss's Daughter (2003), Extract (2009), and Krampus (2015). He also had a leading role as Coach Lambeau Fields in The Comebacks (2007). In addition to his film work, Koechner starred in his own show, Naked Trucker & T-Bones Show, which premiered on Comedy Central in 2007. His collaborations with Steve Carell include recurring roles in The Office as Todd Packer.
