David Hasselhoff is an American actor who played Michael Knight in the television series Knight Rider. He gained fame as L.A. County Lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch, a series he also produced until its conclusion in 2001. In addition to acting, Hasselhoff pursued a music career, achieving notable success in German-speaking countries, particularly highlighted by his performance at the Berlin Wall on New Year's Eve 1989. He participated as a judge on NBC's America's Got Talent from 2006 to 2009 and later joined Britain's Got Talent in 2011. Hasselhoff appeared in the film Click in 2006.
