David Caruso is a retired American actor who played Detective John Kelly in the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue (1993–1994). He appeared in notable films such as An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), First Blood (1982), Twins (1988), and Proof of Life (2000). Caruso gained further recognition for his role as Lieutenant Horatio Caine on the CBS series CSI: Miami (2002–2012). After his acting career, he transitioned into the art business and co-owns a clothing store in South Miami. He was previously married to Cheri Maugans and Rachel Ticotin, and has three children, including a daughter named Greta.
