Dave Goelz is a puppeteer known for his work with The Muppets, particularly as the voice of Gonzo. He has also portrayed several other Muppet characters including Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, and Beauregard. In addition to his Muppet roles, Goelz performed as Boober Fraggle and Uncle Travelling Matt on Fraggle Rock. His film credits include puppeteering for characters in Labyrinth (1986) and voicing Figment for Disney. Goelz took over the role of Waldorf in 1992 after Jim Henson's passing. He worked on Inside Out (2015) as part of his extensive career in puppetry.
