Darlanne Fluegel was an American actress who appeared in Sergio Leone's film Once Upon a Time in America (1984) as Eve, the girlfriend of Robert De Niro's character. She played significant roles in various films, including Tough Guys (1986) as Kirk Douglas' girlfriend and To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) as Ruth Lanier. Fluegel also starred in the buddy-cop action comedy Running Scared (1986) as Anna, Billy Crystal's ex-wife. In addition to her film work, she had a successful modeling career and was represented by The Ford Agency for 15 years. Fluegel taught acting at the University of Central Florida from 2002 to 2007.
