Danny McBride is an American actor and comedian who gained recognition for his role as Kenny Powers in the series Eastbound & Down (2009–2013). He has collaborated frequently with filmmaker Jody Hill and co-created the HBO series Vice Principals (2016–2017) and The Righteous Gemstones (2019–present). McBride's film credits include Tropic Thunder (2008), Pineapple Express (2008), and Sausage Party (2016). He also appeared in Alien: Covenant (2017) and Up in the Air (2009).
