Danny Glover is an American actor who played Sergeant Roger Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon film series. He has had a diverse career in film, stage, and television, appearing in significant roles such as Celie's husband in The Color Purple and Lieutenant James McFee in Witness. Glover's filmography includes notable titles like Predator 2 (1990), To Sleep with Anger (1990), and Dreamgirls (2006). He received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead for his performance in To Sleep with Anger.
