Danila Kozlovsky is a Russian actor and director who made his directorial debut with the film Coach in 2018. He began his acting career in 1998 with the Russian television series Simple Truths, where he portrayed a troubled sixth grader. Kozlovsky gained significant recognition in 2005 with his role in Garpastum, which earned him the Russian Guild of Film Critics' White Elephant Award for best male lead actor. His breakthrough came with the 2012 film Soulless, where he played Max Andreev, which grossed $13 million and earned him a National Golden Eagle Award nomination. He appeared in the 2013 sports drama Legend № 17 and starred in the 2016 film Viking, where he played Count Vorontzov. Kozlovsky also had a role in the popular series Vikings, portraying Oleg of Novgorod in its sixth season.
