Daniel Prévost is a French actor, comedian, and writer who gained prominence through his role in Jacques Martin's satirical news program Le petit rapporteur. He began his career in the 1960s, but it was in the 1970s that he became widely recognized. Prévost's notable performances include his role as a tax inspector in Francis Veber's 1998 comedy Le Dîner de Cons, for which he received the César Award for best supporting actor. He has also appeared in the film Retirement Home (2022). Prévost is the father of actors Sören, Erling, and Christophe Prévost.
