Daniel Davis is an American actor who portrayed Niles the butler in the sitcom The Nanny. He also appeared as Professor Moriarty in Star Trek: The Next Generation, where he used an upper-class English accent. In addition to his television work, Davis voiced Longhair, the intelligent Cro Magnon, in the Cartoon Network series Longhair and Doubledome. Davis's work in The Nanny remains a significant highlight of his career.
