Dana Ivey is a five-time Tony Award nominee and won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play in 1997. Her film career includes notable roles in The Color Purple (1985), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), and Sleepless in Seattle (1993). Ivey appeared in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993), as well as Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). She originated the title role in Driving Miss Daisy and received a Drama Desk nomination for Best Actress in a Play.
