Cree Summer is an African-Canadian Aboriginal actress and voice artist who portrayed Winifred "Freddie" Brooks in the NBC sitcom A Different World. She has lent her voice to a variety of characters, including Penny in Inspector Gadget (1983), Elmyra Duff in Tiny Toon Adventures (1990), and Susie Carmichael in Rugrats (1991) and its sequel series All Grown Up. Summer also voiced Princess Kida in Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Foxxy Love in Drawn Together (2004). In addition to her television work, she appeared in the animated film An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000).
