Cory Michael Smith is an American actor who portrayed The Riddler in the Fox series Gotham (2014–2019). He made his Broadway debut in 2013 with Breakfast at Tiffany's, which featured Emilia Clarke. Smith has collaborated with director Todd Haynes on multiple films, including Carol (2015), Wonderstruck (2017), and May December (2023). His filmography also includes roles in 1985 and First Man, both released in 2018. Smith's likeness inspired the character 'Tanner' in the game Scrutinized.
